Biography

Hyunwoo Ki

I'm Hyunwoo Ki, a developer of INNOACE Co., Ltd. I'm currently developing a next-generation graphics engine with my PASSION, for military duty of South Korea.
I received an M.S degree in media engineering in August 2007 at Soongsil University. My major is Computer Graphics, and my research and development are focused on 1) lighting including area lights, environment lighting, global illumination and subsurface scattering, 2) appearance modeling for representation of real materials such as human and creature skin, and 3) next-generation 3D engines and renderers with GPU programming such as the NVIDIA Gelato and Unreal Engine.
In 2007, I was awarded The Second Prize in the single shader category of the Shade Your World competition sponsored by NVIDIA, GameDev.net, and Softimage, and The Prize of the Minister of Culture & Tourism of South Korea for my conference paper and presentation.
I'm VERY interested in music, film, game, food, and my family!
