I contributed to development of an 3D GIS application and maintenance a 3D engine.
Research and Development of Digital Content
"Research and Development of Digital Content"
Mar. 2006 ~ July. 2007 Brain Korea (BK) 21
Brain Korea (BK) 21 is a project that produces "next generation leaders with creativity" by supporting students in Master's or PhD degree course and post-graduate researchers, supported by the South Korea goverment. My school's topic is research and development of digital content, fusing engineering and art.

I was awarded The Second-Prize at the Shade Your World competition, The Minister of Culture & Tourism of Korea's Prize and two best papers of domestic game conferences.
Research and Development of Experienceable Games
"Research and Development of Experienceable Games"
Sep. 2005 ~ Feb. 2007 Korea Game Development & Promotion Institute
This project was for research and development of real-time algorithms to produce experienceable games.

I contributed to development of new real-time illumination rendering techniques including global illumination and subsurface scattering to generate photo-realistic images. And I developed a new learning algorithm using real-time neuroevolution (genetic algorithms + neural networks) to imitate the play patterns of a game user.
Research and Development of Image-Based Rendering Algorithms for Ubiquitous Digital Broadcasting
"Research of Image-Based Rendering for U-Digital TV"
Mar. 2006 ~ Feb. 2007 Korea Research Foundation
This project was for research and development of interactive image-based rendering algorithms to construct 3D images from 2D images, for ubiquitious digital broadcasting systems (3D TV).

I contributed to development of new real-time image-based rendering algorithms for 3D image construction on programmable graphics hardware.
